The specialized cutters are designed to remove unwanted components from an SMD or through-hole PCB, allowing for easy desoldering and cleaning of the associated component PCB pad. They are ideal for cutting the leads of D.I.P. and S.I.P. on densely populated SMD PCBs. The long-life carbon steel jaw construction is specially designed to prevent the pivot joint from loosening or the blades from going out of alignment. The opening angle adjuster, which is supplied with a 1.5mm hex key, sets the jaw gap when the handles are released. The cutters feature ESD-safe comfort grips made from TPR (Thermoplastic rubber), and have a cutting capacity of 0.6mm copper wire.

The jaw end angle is set at 45 degrees, which is perfect for snipping components with the jaws positioned flush to a PCB circuit board. The jaw opening angle adjuster sets how wide the jaws open when the grips are released, enhancing productivity and reducing hand fatigue for repetitive cutting work. The 1.5mm hex key wrench is supplied as a standard accessory to set the jaw opening angle adjuster.

The comfort cushioned grips are ESD-compliant and made from an oil-resistant elastomer, with strap holes at the end of the handles. The heat-treated carbon steel construction ensures excellent cutting performance and durability.
